TECHNOLOGICAL BACK PRESSURE VALVES
Back pressure valves are used on inlet of dust collector in order to
cut off (in the moment of possible explosion inside the collector) the
network of suction hoses connected with the collector to machines and
appliances located inside rooms. –According to the November 03, 1992,
Directive of the |

of Interior on fire preventing security of buildings, other objects and
areas – Journal of Laws No. 90 w / later amendments (Chapter 5
§27 pt 3).

KZFD
back pressure valves have been designed and made as a protection system
(passive isolation system), aimed at effective interruption of
propagation of explosion through pipes. It is to be used at ambient
temperature between: - 20C ÷ + 60C.
KZFD back pressure valves
have been designed and made as devices resistant to a pressure of rated
value: 100 kPa.

Back
pressure valves are applicable at the inlets to de-dusters, waste bins,
etc., as well as in pipelines in order to isolation the space where
explosion has taken place from other spaces – for instance in the
exhaust fan pipes connected to the machines and equipment located
inside the rooms.
