Rectangular Fire Prevention Plates

Fire Prevention Plates are designed to secure rooms from dissemination of fire and smoke through air pipes in ventilation and air conditioning systems. They are installed on the boundaries of fire zones as well as in placers, where ventilation pipes go through fire walls. Fire prevention plates of rectangular section have the ElS 120 class of fire resistance.

Manner of operation: Fire prevention plates have a mechanism consisting of a lever and a spring, opened manually with simultaneous tightening of springs. When opened, the plate is supported by a fastener hanged on a mechanical thermoelement. Under the impact of temperature of 70 +/- 5oC, glass fuse insert cracks and the plate closes. Limit switch, installed on the plate, informs about the location of a barrier closing the plate.

The fire prevention plates are admitted to apply in building industry on the basis of Technical Approval no. AT-15-6452/2004 as well as Certificate of Conformity no. ITB - 0876/W issued by the Instytut Techniki Budowlanej [Building Research Institute].
For dust collecting technique purposes, fire prevention plates are installed on return channels transporting purified air in the place, where pipes go through a wall.

Standard size of plates may be a combination of the following measurements

B (breadth) mm: 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 560, 630, 750, 800, 900, 1000, 1100, 1200
H (height)mm: 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 600, 700, 800

Standard thickness of fire prevention plates amounts to 370 mm.
